On May 23rd we celebrated Vera's 1st Birthday.
Her festivities actually started the weekend before with a visit from her Uncle Jarad and Gramps. We hadn't seen J in almost a year!
We started with a visit to the Living Museum!

I made Vera a little short stack Strawberry shortcake for her to indulge in while Jarad and my dad were here. She had no problem taking care of it :)

Vera was sitting on the counter waiting for me to cut this apricot up, but apparently she couldn't wait any longer! She ate several whole apricots this way (don't worry I removed the seed).
Birthday morning! We went and had lunch with Charlie on Vera's Birthday and got to visit his new work.

...if you ever need to feel productive in one weekend paint the front of your house twice in one weekend with two children under the age of 3 and detail clean a vehicle. We know, because we did it last weekend. Painted the front of the house Saturday-hated it. Late Saturday night trip to get paint samples=a new color on Sunday. (pics coming)
...if you are considering a new vehicle don't ever choose a VW-I can give you 12 (reasons) trips to the shop -in less then 20k miles not too.
...you know you had a great time in the bounce house/slide when you and your adult sister both have burn marks on their elbows from going down the slide to many times. Thanks to the Roberts family for a great gift-many great times to come.

....We had a party over Memorial Day Weekend for Charlie's old Flight=Stella thought it was a party for everyone to come see her. She had a BLAST playing with the 7 other kids that came!
