Stella had her first official day of school today. She goes from 915-1215 on Tues/Thurs. On Tuesday Charlie and I took her to the open house to meet her teacher, see her classroom etc. She was ready to stay from the moment we got there. Today, she told me "No mom, just drop me off..I can walk in". And she did just that! I was feeling proud, heartbroken, excited, nervous....when I left her. There are only four students in her particular class-which I think is great! The day went well and she has been asking when she gets to go back to her new school. I couldn't do just one pic for this moment.
Over the weekend we enjoyed a great visit with my mom and sister. Charlie and I got a date night, my Aunt Nancy & Uncle Terry came down on Saturday, lots of play, exercise, and catching up! Charlie even survived all the ladies! We got some beach time in before they left on Monday. Vera the lifeguard!
I had to take some snapshots for Stella for school-her a couple! Starting with her infamous one eye!
My mom bought Stella some of her very own running clothes-she absolutely loves to be able to exercise like everyone else in the appropriate attire.
Stella, my mom and sister going out for a Saturday morning run.
Yes...her shorts are falling down!
