Catching up-Easter!

These are a bit out of order, but I am going to leave them that way since they are all from the same Holiday-Easter!  

We did what everyone does on Easter, have our egg hunt and then go to a KU BB game.  The KU women were playing in the Sweet 16 at Old Dominion in Norfolk so we went to cheer them on!  At the game the girls were great!  Vera had her first cheeseburger.  We left at half time before anyone was tired of being there!

Weekend of warm weather!

Last weekend Martha was here for a visit.  We enjoyed the Spring weather with trips to the park and beach!

Some tidbit about the girls-

Vera is my eater!  She has recently been renamed at school to "Goose" from "Vera Chicky" because all she does is eat and poop.  I think it is a pretty accurate description.

Stella has recently been asking for spicy brown mustard on her sandwiches-I guess she has spent to much time with Auntie!

Vera is the child that picks up every little thing and puts it in her mouth and heads directly for stairs, electrical outlets and every other child hazard!

Stella has been learning what her address is and recites it correctly most of the time.  She is also working on telling time!
