18 weeks 4 days & Crib Progress

There is definitely more of a bump now, then just a couple weeks ago. I am feeling the baby move quite frequently now!

These are the boards the slats will go into...
All the slats...
Both stacks of wood... We have also started looking at dressers for the baby's room, that will be Charlie's next project!

Baby Bump 16 weeks 4 days

The first of the "baby bump" pictures. From now on our Sunday night ritual will be taking the photo with me standing next to our refrigerator in the kitchen. I am feeling much better these days and I think I actually felt the baby move for the first time on Friday night. I have another ultrasound in 3 weeks.

Crib in Progress

Charlie has been hard at work these days making the baby crib. Of course it required a few new additions to his workshop! Stay tune for progress...

Emily's Baby Shower

A few pictures from Emily's baby shower I hosted last Sunday. A funny story...Paul and Emily do not have a name picked out for their little boy due in April, so I just call him "Baby Julian"-Julian being their last name. So I get the little banner up and our neighbor across the street calls and say oh congratulations, when is the baby due again, etc. I am thinking to myself this is kind of odd, and then she says I just love the name Julian, how did you decide on that name? I start laughing and have to explain to her it is not our baby's name, but a friend's last name!

The cupcake's I made for the shower, "Welcome Baby Boy Julian"

Charlie's Birthday

A few snapshots from Charlie's 31st Birthday! Charlie requested cherry crisp for his Birthday-so that is what he got! I got him concert tickets to Spoon, which we are going to see this Friday night in Birmingham!

Trip to Maryland/DC

Kermit and Dorthy's Slippers on exhibit at the Smithsonian.
Here are several of the monuments we saw on our blistery cold walking tour of the mall area. We had lunch at Ben's Chili Bowl, quite the spot-I probably should of included pictures of it too. If you are ever in DC, it is worth a try!

Dad' 60th Birthday!

This is a picture from the Naval Academy. We did a tour of the facility-quite impressive.
